| Why “Boroughs?”
When referring to Easton, calling the planning areas “villages” or “communities” failed to convey the magnitude of the planning efforts. These planning areas needed to be defined in a non-traditional manner that conveyed the proper scale and size.
Easton’s boroughs consist of a self-contained collection of residential neighborhoods, parks, schools, retail and employment centers, each possessing their own individual identity and natural characteristics, all tied together by superior elements of character, design and quality. |
